First of all make sure that you have searched correctly. If you still can't find this book, it could be that the title is no longer in print or it might be published by another company, in which case check the publisher at a bookshop, online bookseller or library.

Can I buy books through your website?

Hachette NZ's expertise lies in publishing. We want the best possible service for our customers, so we sell our books only through shops and established on-line retailers.

How can I obtain a review copy of one of your books?

Requests from potential editors or reviewers for review copies should be made by email to: admin@hachette.co.nz. Please state clearly where the review will be published and indicate who reads that publication; and provide a phone number and/or email address for any queries we might have.

I have written a book that I think Hachette might be interested in publishing. How should I proceed?

First, make sure that the topic or genre of your book is suitable for Hachette NZ. Look at our books in a bookshop or library if you are unsure. Keep in mind that we publish non-fiction books for the general reader. We do not publish fiction or general children's books.

We do recommend that you get professional help. It is useful if you use a manuscript assessor or a literary agent.
