Since retiring as a university lecturer on philosophy and politics,Alex Liddell now devotes himself to a keen interest in wine datingfrom his student days.His articles (mainly on wine travel) appear injournals world-wide, and he is the author of Port Wine Quintas of the Douroand Madeira also part of this series .He lives in Oxfordshire.
