In the small hours of the morning one autumn day in 1866, a frantic widow visits detective Charles Lenox. Lady Annabelle's problem is simple: her beloved son, George, has vanished from his room at Oxford. Charles Finch was born in New York City in 1980. He graduated from Yale and Oxford Universities where he majored in English and History, and did his master's in Renaissance English Literature. He is the grandson of American artist and writer Anne Truitt. He lives in Oxford, England.
