Horse Girl: Hotshots

John Larking has been a professional soccer player, trolley boy, factory hand, forklift driver, computer programmer, educator, librarian and comedian. John is the author of over twenty-three books for children teens and adults. His novel THE SHADOW GIRL received the 2012 Victorian Premier s Literary Award for Writing for Young Adults.

Emma Quay s illustrative work has been collected around the world and is included in the permanent collection of prints and drawings at The Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Emma has illustrated a number of picture books and early readers including the CBC shortlisted BEAR AND CHOOK; CBC Notable Books CHAMPIONS and THANK YOU FOR MY YUKKY PRESENT; GOOD NIGHT, ME and her own picture book story REGGIE AND LU (AND THE SAME TO YOU!).
