In What Treasure Did Next, Treasure is nearly fifteen - fond of luxury, friends, talking on the phone - anything but her mother. In this second rollercoaster volume of life on the wild side, Treasure goes on holiday (with Mum and dog), dyes her hair, falls in love, insists on going to Glastonbury, disappears for hours on end, goes out with friends who drive cars, falls in love. Treasure does not clean up her room, talk to her mother, concentrate on home work, be nice to her mother's friends, help pay the phone bill or read the books her mother recommends. Treasure after all, is a teenager.

Treasure first appeared in the Guardian and has featured on Radio 4. She later starred in her own BBC TV series.
