The Last King of Texas

Smart-mouthed private investigator and academic Tres Navarre is reluctant to take up a job at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and with good reason: the last two guys who held the post were murdered. But then a bomb hits the dean's office, and the case begins to feel very close to home.
