This second volume includes articles by thirty-four leading cross-cultural trainers and covers new or divergent training methods for cross-cultural skill development and intercultural learning. These include self-awareness inventories, videotapes, small group exercises, area studies, and an insightful collection of other methods from the programming of field studies to the use of cross-cultural dialogues, culture heroes, and visual imagery.

One chapter analyzes the role and significance of research in cross-cultural training and another explores how training methods can be adapted for different cultures and age groups.
