Kunyi June Anne McInerney
Kunyi June Anne McInerney was born on Todmorden Station near Oodnadatta in South Australia in 1960. Her family s language group is Yankunytjatjara.
Kunyi became a nurse and midwife. She later graduated with a BA in Aboriginal Studies (University of SA). Kunyi is a self-taught artist whose work has been exhibited widely. The paintings in Kunyi were part of the My Paintings Speak for Me exhibition at the Migration Museum, a selection of which toured South Australia. Kunyi has illustrated several children s books.
