Author

Amelia Tait

Amelia Tait was born in Bradford and grew up in Richmond, North Yorkshire. From the ages of 13 to 18, she recorded her life in nine diaries, inspired by her love of The Princess Diaries series and her overwhelming need to write poems about boys. Aged 18, she moved to London to study history at university and she's lived there ever since.

Amelia built her career as a freelance features journalist, exploring lifestyle, culture and trend stories for publications such as The New York Times, Guardian, and The New Statesman. She has also written humour for McSweeney's and The New Yorker. In 2020, she was named as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 in Europe.

Lily Tripp: Diary of an Accidental Time Traveller is her debut children's book.
