Nikhil Krishnan
Nikhil Krishnan was born in 1986 in Bangalore, India. In 2007, he was elected one of five Indian Rhodes Scholars for the year and did an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford. He stayed on to complete a doctorate in philosophy at Balliol College, Oxford, during which time he published journalism in Indian, British and American magazines.
After his doctorate, Nikhil spent eight years teaching the subject at the University of Cambridge, winning awards for his lectures and finishing his first book, a history of British philosophy that emerged from his doctoral research. In these years, he was a regular on the Books pages of several magazines, his reviews of new works of fiction and non-fiction appearing in the Daily Telegraph, New Statesman, Times Literary Supplement and Spectator.Other books by the author
